Flu Watch Multi-Media Campaign
Both federal and state governments are preparing for the possibility of pandemic influenza, a worldwide epidemic of flu from a new strain of flu virus. In Connecticut, Akins was selected by the Department of Public Health to manage and implement a $100,000 campaign to educate the public about pandemic influenza and how to be prepared should it occur.
